Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 65 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 91. 
It is Thursday so it is off to work today. It is another half day. We have a faculty meeting after the students leave. I cannot imagine what they could possibly have to say to us with just 4 days left.
I'm continuing to show Food Inc to the students. It is incredible to me that they are so mad about it. I could be lecturing. I could be having them doing work. Nope. All I am asking them to do is just watch about where their food comes from. They would rather rot their brains on TikTok. 
After work I need to finish the cake truffles (I lost my steam yesterday) and make the Carmine's salad for tomorrow's work BBQ. That's pretty much all I plan to accomplish.
What's everyone else up to today?

That's funny that the students won't watch a film. They could be taking finals like we had to do. What's with Trump and this Gold Card thing? I figured you would know.

The high for the day is 91!!
I would need medical assistance after 85F.
I hope that you enjoy your half day at work and get the.caks truffles finished.
BBQ tomorrow sounds fun.
We didn't do much today to be honest.
Went out on big bike
Got a few items from shop
Came home
Went out again on little bike
Went to a friend's house to listen to all the gossip
Came home
Now posting on here and watching TV
Oh we had dinner

That’s a great thing to have them watch; they need to know. It’s fascinating too, but I guess like you said, they’d rather be on TikTok.
I have a doctor appointment, then I’m headed down to where my sister lives, driving down with my dad. He has to get something from my BIL, so we’re having lunch with them too. Amyra is at camp, but everyone else will be around.

Good morning... It is 65F and storming in my part of Missouri today. Our high today is predicted to reach 74F with all the storms coming through. We shall see what happens.
I went to the kitchen and made scrambled eggs with turkey, diced onions and powdered garlic. They are delicious. Pretty didn't want any so I put her portion in the fridge and will have them for another meal.
You could always give the students a choice... Offer to give them a test or watch Food Inc and see which they choose. You could even make the test be a single question, like what they think they'll be doing over summer vacation. (Then you can trash the papers after class. No extra work for you. *shrug*)
The think about giving them a choice is that first class students will "warn" every class after that and that sucks for you...
