Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 70 degrees F and getting light here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is just 76. I think we might get a storm later.
I went to bed early so I was up at like 4:30am. At least I don't feel like a zombie. Today is another half day at work. Hopefully we can finish off the movie because I. Am. Over. It. I can't even believe there are 3 more days to go after this. 
We have the staff barbecue at work today after the students leave for the day. They used to do that *and* a retirement dinner but it got to the point where no one was going to retirement dinners so now we honor our retirees at the barbecue. There are like 6 of them this year so I will not be staying for all of the speeches. I'll show my face, eat, and then dip.
I have time this morning to actually make breakfast. I am going to have a bacon, (duck) egg, and cheese on a homemade English muffin. Yum!
No big plans for the afternoon. I may get all crazy and take a nap. We shall see. What's everyone else up to today?

Good afternoon from this side of the planet. It's 3:45 PM and I just got up from my second nap of the day. One hour nap felt good. Now I would do some mylotting for a while and then go ahead with folding laundry and having tea.
Enjoy the barbecue and your day at work. It was a good idea to club barbecue and retirement dinners together. It saves money and time.

Retirements can be extremely boring. But if you think you have problems, you should try a NAVY retirement ceremony! Two hours of standing at parade rest? No, thank you.

Good morning. It's 67F in my part of Missouri this morning and storming... According to The Weather Channel, it will storm/rain until around 1 pm and our high today will only reach 74F by late this afternoon.
I need to move around, take my morning meds and heat up something for breakfast. I may have the scrambled eggs I made for Pretty yesterday or the day before... They sound good this morning.
As far as I know, we don't have any plans for today. I'd like to read my current book while I'm falling asleep.
