Lakeland Florida resident Bob Beascock had taken his pet cat George to the Society for the Protection of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) on Friday May 16 to have his cat to be neutered in Lakeland when George managed to escape from the veterinarian's office and walk in a groggy state due to the effects of the anesthesia three miles away.
Bob and the veterinarian staff went looking for George for nearly a week when the cat was found in Bob's home in Loma Verde Florida which is around 3 miles away from the animal hospital in Bob's carport taking a nap.
Thank goodness George is in good condition after he reunited with his owner.

That is quite remarkable !
The cat managed to reach the home even in such a state after having anesthesia!

In a groggy state like that, the cat was lucky not to have been hit by a car. He must have slipped out when someone opened the door at the vet's office.

The same goes with a few cats that walk outside the home for a few hours and show up later.
