Police officers from the Chester Police Department answered an emergency call to assist a 68 year old woman was inside a burning auto that flipped during a crash on a highway which caught fire. The accident happened around 4am on Sunday June 8 when someone reported the accident to the police as well as other emergency units to first use a fire extinguisher to a stranger who used it to put out the fire while Chester Police Officer Nicholas Contino managed to break the sunroof glass and with the help of a couple of motorists and a paramedic managed to get the woman out of the danger zone. The name of the woman was not mentioned was taken by an ambulance to Westchester Medical Burn Center where she is in stable condition with burns covering one third of her body. I am sure that Officer Contino will be awarded by his superiors with an award for his act of bravery. Link is goodamerica.com/news/story/pol... via@GMA

Flipped upside down, and caught fire, that is a nasty situation to be in, and it was good that she was rescued before getting even more worsely burnt by the fire.
