The fragrance fills the room...

Good afternoon from this side of the planet. It's 5:30 PM and I just got up from my second nap of the day. Well, the first one was after my breakfast, taking care of few things while walking slowly around the house. I am not climbing stairs yet, just a few steps from last few days after the doctor's advice. I will slowly increase it and hopefully by this month end, I should be able to go upstairs at least once in the night to my bedroom. Till then the guest room downstairs is my place.
I have been taking a few naps in the daytime since my surgery. It was more during the first 2_3 weeks because of the painkiller and sedative. I would sleep, eat and walk around as I was supposed to walk few times for better recovery.
Now, I am more active doing all the light chores around the house. And my naps and napping time has reduced. I took one before my lunch for 30 minutes and then one now for another 40 minutes.
It's 5:40 PM and I am waiting for my husband to have our evening tea. Till he makes it and calls me to join, I can be here
.
Hope that you are having a good weekend in your myLot corner. It's raining on and off here in the last few days and the weather is gloomy.
Well, I have something cheering me up on this gloomy day. And you see that in the picture here. It's a bowl full of harshrinagar or prajita flower. It's a flower of the Jasmine family with the orange colour in the stalk.
I have not seen my garden upstairs in the last one month. My husband is not loud with his expressions for caring. He is a man of less words. But his actions show it
. And today he got these fragrant beauties and put it on the side table of my bed. Oh! It smells and feels heaven here.
Moving to reading your posts. Seems like my husband is caught up with some work and I might have to wait a little more for tea

Hopefully you enjoyed the Tea with your husband.
We got Two bathrooms of ours cleaned through Urban Company service.
It took a good enough time.
The flowers look great.
These are loved by many for their looks and fragrance.
Good to know of your recovery.
Your good speed recovery also means that you can gradually become more active online and also in your regular work.
We are still awaiting for good rains.
High heat and humidity is testing us a lot. Even switching off the AC for 10/15 minutes is causing discomfort today.
In such a case, we start remembering the winter time.

Your husband sounds like he is a very good man.
Actions do indeed speak louder than words
Although words are nice too

That is such a loving gesture. :) Yes, Parijat flowers are beautiful and they have heavenly scent, faint but pleasing. Unfortunately, these flowers die very fast. Have you ever come across Bakul flower? I like its scent too. Kevada is another scent so Indian. And of course the Indian cork tree.

Did not know you had a parijat tree in your garden Its scent is overpowering Took me to my young days My neighbour had that tree. Your husband is man of action and not words.

You seem to be feeling better and I'm sure you aren't feeling better fast enough in your opinion.
It has been storming and raining here for the last few days but it is supposed to be sunny later today. We shall see...
That is a beautiful bowl of flowers.
Have a good evening/night.

I can only imagine how lovely that perfume would be. I like jasmine but the scent can be quite powerful. I'm glad you're improving with each day.
