Maybe it's because of the job that I have, but I am really bugged when people spell words incorrectly . Not the tricky , uncommon words.....I mean the every day words....
Here are some of my horrors ....
Egnore instead of ignore
Aloud instead of allowed
Crips instead of crisps
Glubs instead of gloves
Don't get me started on their, they're and there
or
were, where, and we're
do these sort of mistakes annoy you ....
any others ....

I have actually never seen the ones you gave as example. I hate when people write ‘loose’ instead of ‘lose’ most of all. That one is so easy, how can people mistake that one. I have one more, but it’s a minor annoyance. It is ‘to’ instead of ‘too’. Too indicates also…it seems easy to remember, but it’s easier to forget that ‘lose’ or ‘loose’.

I get frustrated when a misspelled word changes the entire meaning of the sentence, or when a person that writes something words it in a way that I have to try to figure out just exactly what they mean. I never comment on these things, I know we all make mistakes. I use spell check but as we know, it doesn't always catch them all. But when I can't figure out the meaning of what's being said, sometimes I will just try to ask.

I think people rely on spellchecker too much. It makes them too lazy to learn and remember. I use it once in a while but not on a regular basis.

@MarieCoyle that's right it doesn't see everything and then it can change the whole meaning of something....like you that frustrates me too.

I do use it sometimes. But as I said, it often doesn't seem to catch everything.

I tend not to let it bother me.
Especially online.
It's not worth getting worked up about.
Is it?

It does bother me .....I spend my days trying to educate the next generation....I like things to be right.....I think it shows a great lack of either education , or care , a slap dosh it will do kind of attitude.

I notice spelling mistakes and try to ignore them on myLot. (Some people on myLot make spelling mistakes on purpose... I won't mention @rebelann1949 here...

)
If I notice mistakes in the books I'm reading, I send a notification to the publisher so they can correct them and other people won't be annoyed by them.
I've noticed lately that I can be typing too quickly and misspell "the" as "eht"... It's a silly mistake and I don't know why I've been doing it but I go back through whatever I've written and fix those.
