Wouldn't You Know It

I have messaged maintenance several times about the A/C downstairs needing fixed. You see about 4 months ago the head guy came by and checked the braker that the A/C is on, said he would put in a work order to have it fixed. Have gotten no reply on it since. But, who should appear when I was busy on Thursday with my in-home from Humana? Oh, yes. Maintenance. I asked if they could come back later. Nope. They were done. Just there to look at the stairs and will start on them Wednesday. Ugh! Communication can be so frustrating sometimes. It won't be maintenance coming on Wednesday either. It is another contractor. So, the A/C will not be fixed again. I am so tired of leaving messages that are never answered. But at least the stairs will be getting done tomorrow after nearly a month after the vinyl upstairs was finished. Someday maybe the A/C will get done. It's only been about 4 or 5 months now and the temps have been in the 90s many times. I'm glad we have the one upstairs. My daughter is downstairs much of the time though and really needs it to relieve the heat after working on cleaning, cooking, etc.

Once you get used to having A/C, it's frustrating to be without it. I hope it get fixed soon.

That's very true. When I was young we never had it. Just fans.

This always happens. I was just talking with Leticia that things get lost and are found only when you are looking for something else.

You need to really get this in writing and cite health needs. In the meantime, you can buy portable air conditioners that run on water, really does wonders. George can't sleep without ours.

And heat rises so you're getting all the heat from her cooking up there with you and making your AC up there work harder than it needs to. I'm glad the stairs will be finished, though.
