Celebrity chef Anne Burrell has died at 55

I am shocked. She has been one of my Food Network favorites since I started watching the network. She actually got her start on the network as one of Mario Batali's sous chefs on Iron Chef America. She then had her own instructional show, "Secrets of a Restaurant Chef", before being moved to competition shows like Chopped and Worst Cooks In America. I wasn't much into Worst Cooks but I did enjoy seeing her compete on Chopped several times after her own show ended. I used to follow her on Twitter (don't remember why I stopped) but I remember many summers ago she posted a waterfront (bay) picture and must have mentioned she was here at the Jersey Shore. I immediately knew where she was--Lavalette! I recommended that she visit Maruca's Tomato Pies on the boardwalk and the very next day she did. The article says that she died at home with family so it appears that she was dealing with some kind of illness. What a shame. She only just married her husband 4 years ago.
