I'm Still Around

Every day, I am listing and selling things for my son, packing and getting ready for our last day here (June 30th), at this leased house. They sold the house, so we couldn't get one more month extension. The other still won't be ready to move into, so we are going camping for four nights and stay at some fun Harvest Host farms. I pulled my travel trailer out of storage and been working on it. Replaced a glass panel that fell out of the cabinet above my bed, sealed the outside, cleaned with wood soap and oil, and more. It's ready to roll but need to replace a jack that got bent last winter in the bomb cyclone. It comes down but so badly warped. I don't have anything interesting to write about right now. It's been constant work, but wanted to pop in and say I'm enjoying all of your discussions. I just haven't been talking much since there are so many interruptions here. We did take a break today and go see "How to Train a Dragon." It was a fun movie and they kept it close to the original story. I'm looking forward to not listing and selling anything for a little while. I'm over a lot of the people that come out on the marketplace. Have a great week, everyone.

Marketplace can be a circus, I agree. I'm glad you still have the camper since you do have a need for it right now. I know moving is just a ton of work. I'm glad to see you here, and hope that the move goes smoothly for you.

Thank you. I should have taken a hosting position for July since finding reservations is hard but the parks close to me only has one available and they have no sewer dump and no service so I said no. We hoped we could have went directly to the house but the final permit guy is taking forever.

@noni1959 Well, no sewer service and such would be troublesome and time consuming, I would have said no, too. But the camper option is much better than having to stay in a hotel, etc.

I don't blame you... When Pretty came home from college, she started listing all kinds of things to sell on eBay and other places... Then I had to take the items, pack them and take them to the Post Office and send them off. Some people don't pay attention to the descriptions about the items and get mad because they aren't what they thought they would be and tried to get Pretty to reduce the price or send them other items in "compensation"... I got fed up with people long before she did. I hope you both enjoy the camping and don't stress over getting moved.

Gosh moving is very stressful! I hope it goes smoothly and glad you have the camper to tide you over.

A myLotter from India mentioned that dragon movie. I haven't heard of it but I don't pay much attention to movies. I hope the move goes well and that you're not inconvenienced for too long.
