I’ve had lunch and now it’s home to continue cleaning out the medicine cabinet.

I’m doing some preparation for the party. My sister won’t be here until the night before so I’m putting a few things ahead of time. I also have to go to my dad’s. I hope your day is like walking on air!

Good morning... It's 66F in my part of Missouri this morning and raining... We had strong winds during the nigh and still have some wind... I can hear it whistling around the eaves. Our high today may reach 78F today since we're supposed to have storms off and on all day. The workmen will be back today to start blowing in insulation into the attic and then the outside walls of the house. (I don't know if it storming will affect whether they can do that from the outside or not.) The main guy said they'd order the new storm windows when they got back to their base yesterday and they took some of our light fixtures with them to buy ones that will fit with the new eco-friendly bulbs in them. (We had already changed out a lot of the bulbs we use but we didn't change any of the fixtures.) They also said they were adding another smoke detector in the living room. (We put one in the hallway between our bedrooms and the bathroom.) They've already put heat shields on our water heater and caulked around the outside of the windows through the whole house. I'll have to empty my closet this morning before they get here so they can go into the attic. My bedroom closet has the only access to the attic in the ceiling. It will be a busy day here. I hope you have fun at work today...

Maybe you can eat ice-cream once you get home from school.
