My bro in law only knows one speed in the car which is fast. I generally drive fast, but not like he does. I was telling nephew I was surprised he hasn't gotten any tickets. Nephew relayed a few years ago they were in Delaware, and bro in law got a ticket which ended up being 300 dollars! This was on the way to their destination. He was quite miffed about it, and sat in the van the whole time the rest of the fam was shopping or whatever they were doing. He said "Delaware wasn't going to get his tourist dollars."

Yeah, and I thought my 200 dollar ticket was bad;

Ouch
300 is a.major.amoint.of.mo eye.to be fined for driving a bit too fast.
I got one and it was 60.
That was bad enough.
But it did make me keep my speed down a bit after that

I primarily don't want to get points on my record.

That would be quite low for a speeding ticket. However, they have a tourist based economy so maybe they don't penalize speeders as much.

@snowy22315 - He was not going very fast, he did not notice a sign, the policeman was quite nice, but he gave the ticket anyway.

Sis had a whole slew of tickets before she had her children. That slowed her done a good bit.
