I cycled home from the car fix-it place.

Wish me luck when it comes to my 2008 Chevy Silverado pick-up. I have been having some transmission problems, so I drove it over to my fix-it place with my bike in the back this morning. .This (the truck) is the beast that I bought in Montana for only $6,000.
I'll pick it up and drive to Guitar Center this afternoon. My hope is that they can diagnose it today and fix it tomorrow or Friday.
I hope your Wednesday is less "exciting" than mine.

Good luck with your truck, pony... It's always a pain in the tush when a vehicle breaks down.
My car got a new battery this morning.

The tranny in my last Jeep was the reason I got a different vehicle a few years ago. It was going to cost more than the Jeep was worth to replace it, slipped badly. I loved that Jeep, but it was past time to replace it. I hope your transmission is not as bad as mine was.

Clunky noise, not loud but I could hear it. Try to accelerate and there was often a lag time to get it to kick in. That got worse and worse. My kids were afraid I would get stranded.

I really do hope it is an easy fix and a non costly fix.
My Wednesday wasn't so bad
And we had Fish and Chips so that was.good
And I rode my wee red cruiser a lot today so that was good
