My computer technician

I have had this guy taking care of my computer for years but the only snag is he never keeps to timings. His justification is when I have just one computer to worry about he has more than 500. I silenced him by saying I have just one life and I need to take care of that - I said it jokingly.
Yesterday he came earlier than the time promised and he had a complaint saying that everytine he comes late I have a lecture but I never appreciated his coming earlier than scheduled. It never occurred to me that I should say something nice Never mind. The fact of the matter is he knows his job.
He is reliable

I agree with him, though... If you complain when he's late, then by the same courtesy, you should compliment him when he's early.

@allknowing I can see that happening... I've been so happy to see a technician that I've forgotten to thank them for coming so quickly.

His timing may be unpredictable, but it’s great that he knows his stuff and that you can joke around like that. Sounds like you’ve got a good, reliable guy even if his timing’s off sometimes. Reliable tech people are hard to find!
