I hope you can see my primitive wooden cupboard. It's now in my kitchen. Today I totally unloaded it and hubby and I pulled it into the kitchen. Ah. That's where those Christmas socks were hiding! I'm keeping some things that were in the cupboard and tossing some. I will next sort canned food out from my main cupboards. There are too many cans sitting too close to breakable bowls. It will take some time to get that done. But first thing tomorrow morning it will be time to do something super important: make a cherry pie. That's high up on my to do list.

Uhm... you mean you needed those cherries I ate? I meant to tell you they were delicious. That's a nice looking cabinet.

@sallypup I wish you could, too. Cherry pie is my favorite... But I have been eating Bing cherries today. They're delicious! You're welcome.

@kareng Hardy har har but it is truth: I use my dishwasher as a moving rack for my mixing bowls..There's an English batter bowl as well as Pyrex in the dishwasher right now.

And you use fresh cherries? I don’t think I’ve ever had a cherry pie with fresh cherries.

@AmbiePam Wow. You are missing out. I probably had canned pie filling cause once in a blue moon I eat pie in a restaurant.

I agree that cherry pie is a top priority!!! Love that cupboard, looks very roomy. (Of course, I’m single, so it would be for me. )

Making a cherry pie sounds much more important than sorting groceries!

@JudyEv I agree with you. Playing with pie dough is tons more fun than moving cans around.

@Ineeddentures If and when I make it to your country, get me some shortening and flour and water and a pop bottle. I will make you pie crust.
