Israel – Iran conflict: WWIII in the making?

The on-going conflict between Israel and Iran should make everyone in the world concerned. The war in which ultramodern weapons are being put into use is not just like any other. It is not like the Russian – Ukrainian or Indian – Pakistani wars. The war between Israel and Iran has even startled the US president D.Trump, and he’s undecided whether or not to get involved. Inasmuch as we pity the innocent civilians whose lives are being ruined, I believe the war could stir a global conflict especially if the G7 and NATO get involved. Currently, missiles are being used. Later on, maybe, supersonic drones and rockets might be put into use. I am not sure if any other person here is as concerned as I am. This conflict could be WWIII in the making!

Trump is not interested in the well-being of the people or the end to the war, only in the uranium that Iran has that he can try to gain.
Why else would anyone who has built walls around his country and stated that his country is the best and needs no other country, get involved if it were not for self-gain? His actions are very transparent.

You are possibly right. He must be having some personal interests somewhere.

@SIDIKIMPOLE Greed, pure greed.
The natural resources that his country either does not have or have depleted they attempt to take over in one way or another. It happened with Greenland and it happened with us here in Canada.

@SIDIKIMPOLE We haven't heard the news for a few days as we've been away and didn't always have internet.

The US should not get involved. It will make things worse.

@porwest The US thought that it would be safer deciding which people should govern South America 50 years ago. And we suffered deaths, torture and broken families. That happened in many South American countries. And while this happened Henry Kissinger was given the Nobel Prize for Peace.

@marguicha The United States has certainly not always gotten it right. At the same time, I am not sure suffering in South America was due to our actions. Many of those countries were already suffering under very bad leaders.

I am not sure how a single strike on Iran suddenly breeds itself to the making of WWIII. This action ENDS Iran's nuclear interests, and I think the world understands that if there's one country who, if they ever had access to nuclear weapons, that would actually use them, it would be Iran, and an Iran without nuclear capabilities makes the entire world a much safer place.
The world may be saying something else in public, but quietly, in the back rooms, I think they are applauding Trump's actions.

I have never met anyone but you who applauds Trump. Not in my country and not in yours.

@Ineeddentures Maybe true. Maybe not. Who knows? But I have confidence that the U.S. does know exactly what they were striking and what was there to strike. I would never say this ENDS Iran's nuclear ambitions. It simply slows them down considerably.
For the record, nuclear facilities and what's in them and what it takes to make these things are not things you can just pack up into a truck and move without anyone seeing what you are doing.
The BBC might want to check on that reporting, because it seems quite farfetched to be totally honest. Unless the BBC wants to dismiss intelligence gathering and satellites...
We'd know if things were "moved." And quite frankly, Iran is not quite that...sophisticated. lol

That strike did not end Iran's nuclear interest.
The stuff they wanted to bomb was not there .
It had been moved.
BBC Verify proved it beyond doubt
