Eating Out Today

The girls are taking us to lunch for fathers day. We will be going to the Chinese restaurant. It's always good. And that means I don't need to fix dinner. We might have some sandwiches this evening.
For the rest of the day I won't do too much until it cools down this evening. I am slowly getting the old duck shed cleaned out. I might do some more of that.

This is the perfect day to enjoy a buffet, it will be too hot to cook later one.
I am doing something in the slow cooker, to keep the temperatures down in here.
The a/c is on, but we turned it up so that we don't add to the extra strain on the grid.
Have fun with the family at the buffet, eat lots!

I use the slow cooker or microwave a lot this time of year.
We only use fans.

Chinese food sounds good. I hope you have a good meal and a good time with the girls. 
I made turkey salad for sandwiches and have several foods in the fridge that just need to be microwaved to be eaten.

@wolfgirl569 During the summer, when I don't want to add to the heat in the house during the daytime, I cook food at night, let it cool and stick it in the fridge for later... It's still delicious and the house doesn't get as hot.

It's very expensive here now.
I can cook a Chinese curry but that's about it and make Spring Rolls
