Cleaning closets

Since I am going to spend alot of time trapped inside due to the heat I have decided I am going to attack the closets and get them straight. I am looking at one right now that needs it badly. I have stuff in there though that is useless to me though and needs to be donated. I don't know why I am holding on to them. It just creates clutter and chaos.

There is a box here that would make a good donate box. If anybody wants this crap..
Another thing is that there is a site with people offering things for free if someone wants to pick up. I might try that as well.

@LadyDuck I am not sure that any charities here would pick up, but where I used to live you could put donations out for the Purple Hearts. They would even call to remind you.

@snowy22315 - I called a charity and they sent a guy to collect several boxes I had prepared for them. I was glad not to waste but to donate.

Most of the stuff in this coat closet do not. There are one or two items like that though that I will keep.

The one that is the worst is the large walk in in my bedroom. I am trying to work up the nerve to tackle it. It isn't going to be today.

We cleared out so much "junk" when we moved into this house but looking around, I can see more stuff we don't need/don't use... I just need to start hauling it to the thrift store.

Oh I know about this..
Clutter is not good.
Get rid of the stuff you don't need
You will feel so much better.
We decluttered 5 years ago and we have never looked back.

@Ineeddentures I found a battery charger from years ago, and I just found a battery tester. I was going to put it in the donate box, and probably still will..just curious if it works at all It does light up
