Going out for a couple of hours

One of my friends/coworkers texted me to see if I wanted to go to MJ's for a few hours. The weather has been crap here all day but the sun is now out. I said sure. MJ's is a restaurant/bar right on the water fewer than 10 minutes from here. It is really a nice place to hang out and listen to live music. If she was heading over to the island my answer would have been no.
Soooooo I'm up from trying to take a nap, dressed, and waiting for her to pick me up. I could just meet her there but whatever. I'm on the way for her anyway. So I'll be out for a couple of hours. The cats will be all WTF? 
I don't know the band that is playing but it will be good to get out anyway.
