Boy! Am I wiped!

And it has nothing to do with the high heat dome we're enjoying... 33°C/92°F, predicted to last until 8pm Wednesday. I spent three days in Hamilton, trying to tame Juanita's jungle. I had a look at it Thursday and said "Nope! I need beer to tackle this." So she took me to the Beer Store. I just wanted a 6 pack of my favorite but they were out. So I got a 15 pack (a 12 pack with 3 bonus bottles). I put in about 3 hours Thursday afternoon and another full 8 hours on Friday and Saturday. A lot of weeding and tree trimming and overgrown rose taming... but at least with all the old tree growth, I managed to stay cool. I'm really too old for this but I never met a weed I didn't want to pull.

It's a perennial battle against weeds, but there is a special satisfaction pulling them out.

There was a weed in our garden which I did not want to pull but had to as it was an invader
