There are different types of friendships that you have with your friends.
You have your personal friends that you share secrets with and like to spend time with.
Some of your family members are your friends to not just your family members.
You have good friends that are your friends no matter what.

I have two friends that I've had since junior high and high school. There are 3 or 4 on Facebook that I correspond with occasionally. The rest are online Facebook and MyLot friends. The online ones are cherished just as much as those in real life.

Ive many friends, but some of them have left the town to live elsewhere. Still we keep contact with each other Often we talk over phone.

I have very limited close friends, just two of them. We have been friends since school days. A lot in friend circle but not the ones I am very close to. I have fun with them. In my family, my mom, brother, my daughters and my husband are some who are my closest ones.

@jstory07 Yes. My husband is always there for me when I need a friend. I talk regularly to my brother and we two can talk about anything under the sun. It's a safe space we give to each other

I have a handful of friends in different places around the US, Canada, and one or two in Latvia other than that I am all alone with no family,

Yes, so many kinds of friendships. Everday companions, casual acquaintances, online friends (My Lot), trusted friends and childhood friends to name a few other types. And as you said, those lucky enough to have family as close friends is definitely a luxury too!

Yes, friendships certainly help to ease the struggle of living a bit, and without good friends, it would be a whole lot harder at times too.

I have a friend who never have any connection for many years he is only on the list of social media but i send a lot of message to him for the past days even i don't know if he still login anymore
