Black chicken is good for you

This is what’s left over of the black chicken I made the broth from. Hubby and I already ate the drumsticks, the wings, and the feet.
The skin of the black chicken is black and the meat is darker than that of regular chicken. It’s not very large in size. I am not sure on the weight of it but it cost $11.99. And all the others on the shelf were the same price.
Turns out that black chicken is good for you. It has a high collagen content. It is also rich in protein, has more antioxidants, and contains essential vitamins and minerals like iron, zinc, and vitamin B. Making broth from it and consuming it is great when you are sick.
I found the raw black chicken at a Chinese supermarket. For whatever reason it’s not sold at regular supermarkets. I wonder why that is.

I've heard of black chickens and seen them alive but have never eaten one. They aren't sold in supermarkets here, either.

I will admit it’s not the greatest looking picture of the chicken. It’s pieces of the chicken after I cut it.
