Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 82 degrees F, sunny, and humid here at the Jersey Shore. It is just 7am. The high for today is again 99. Yikes.
I slept until 6 which is progress. It will be nice tomorrow when I can sleep as late as I want. I have to head out in about half an hour to pick up my baby girl Claire from the spay clinic. I can't wait to see my little Floofybutt. 
I churned up the batch of plum ice cream that I made this morning. It is very tasty and was so easy to make! It doesn't have a custard base so no messing around with tempering eggs.
No big plans for today. I'll head over to the pool when it opens. I need to work on my tan. 
I bet the water is so warm. We shall see.

That plum ice cream sounds SO good. Today I have another doctor’s appointment and then a trip to the pharmacy. It’s my dad’s actual birthday today so I’ll try to get ahold of him. He went to Texas yesterday with his wife so I won’t get to actually see him. As long as he’s having fun (they went to visit friends)…

Good morning... I was awake most of the night but fell asleep around 5 and then the electricity was shut off. I nearly choked on my CPAP before ripping the mask off. Pretty says the somebody from the electric company rang our doorbell but I didn't hear it. What a rude way to wake me up!
Anyway, it is 83F at 9:13 am and my eyes are swollen almost closed... This should be a fun day. We're still expecting the construction guys to come work on the next phase of insulating our house. I'm guessing they'll go work somewhere else and come back to us when the electric is on again. (We're on our backup battery for now but it wouldn't work for their equipment for long, I don't think.) We're supposed to reach 90F by late this afternoon. That wouldn't be so bad if the humidity wasn't 90%.
I hope Claire is happy to see you and feels okay when you get her home.

I was glad to read that Claire is acting more normal except giving you the cold shoulder. She'll get over it. Plum ice cream sounds good.
