I must have had a brief power outage early this AM. I was lying in bed when I heard the whole house fan make a noise. Immediately assumed there was some sort of problem and switched it off Nothing else had happened to my knowledge. I sent back to bed, but later noticed that the clock in the bedroom was not on the proper time It was notblinking or flashing, but looked like it restarted itself at 12 AM. It seems like whatever happened is OK now though Hope you have a great day with no power interruptions.

@snowy22315 - We had a warning for extreme heat, at least for this place, they are wrong.

I have had a day with an 13 hour Internet interruption
Not good
I think brief power outages occurr quite often , usually in the middle of the night when we do not notice them

@Ineeddentures We'd be plenty hot without the AC.

Our son's neighbourhood lost power last night for 5-6 hours.
Their subdivision is high on a hill, and on the edge of town, and the lines leading up the hill were taken down by a big tree, probably hit by lightening.
The wires are underground once they get to his neighbourhood, but that didn't help him last night.
They packed the girls into their little wagon and went for a walk to see the downed tree.
There was a police officer standing outside to direct traffic, who made quite a fuss over Harper when she got very quiet and shy at seeing him so closely.

That doesn't sound fun. I"d hate to have it off so long here. At least the girls got a field trip

The electric company is working on the power lines on our street this morning. Pretty said somebody rang our doorbell around 7 am but I didn't hear them. She said nobody was there when she made it to the door but shortly after that, our power was shut off. That definitely woke me up! My CPAP machine feels like it's trying to choke me when it turns off by itself versus me removing the mask...
We used our backup battery for about half an hour before the electricity was turned back on. I still haven't reset my headboard clock.
I hope you're doing okay and will enjoy your day.

Ours will sometimes go off just long enough to mess the clocks up

My fingers are crossed that we have no power interruptions or outages. It's just too hot to have to deal with no a/c or electric in general. Glad your stuff is working and was probably just a surge or something.

Possibly just a power surge, where the electric just flickered enough to reset clocks and such. Hopefully you don't have any more issues....stay cool!

We lost our power after dinner yesterday. It was out nearly 2 hours. Glad everything is fine in your home.

My power went out yesterday morning; but the standby generator kicked in after about 30 seconds; so there was no real interruption. I'm so glad I talked my hubby into getting the generator before he passed away.
