It didn't last more than half an hour and the pavement is dry already.

@BarBaraPrz So little rain is worse than no rain at all.

Have you ever done that and actually showered outside in the rain.?
I did it a couple of times when I was homeless , lived in a tent.
It was really great thing to do.

@Ineeddentures You just need to put out a bucket to catch enough rinse water. While I said I've never showered in the rain, I did save rain water to wash my hair when I was about 12.

Everyone should do it.
Only problem might be is that the rain would stop before rinse the shampoo out of hair
How funny would that be

@BarBaraPrz Yes it is, that humidity is a killer--just like the heat!

Hasn't really cooled things down but seems to have cut the humidity a bit, which is just as good.

Hope that rain cools off things there. We're dealing with excessive heat for a few days now so rain would also be welcome if it cooled things off.

We had a little bit of rain too. It's going to be quite warm for the next week.

I woke up this (Thursday) morning to a nice cool breeze coming through my bedroom window... what a pleasant surprise. Currently (8:45 am) 18°C/65°F

Hopefully it does help cool things down a bit and bring some relief.
