Quite the process

I am done with the first part. I signed a paper telling the house painter that I accept the purple and gold colors and I will not demand they paint the house another color when they are done. Last year a client did that- she didn't like the new color and demanded they do it all over- for free. Yipes. But wow. I hadn't realized all the steps needed before actual painting starts. The walnut tree had to get a trimming due to its insistance on growing against the house and into my bedroom. Now they're pressure washing the house. It's like being in a giant car wash. At least the windows are now clean- and did you close ALL the windows? Next Monday they will be back to start on the next step. There is peeling paint but that is one of the reasons why we're paying for a paint job. I was thinking about heading to the grocery store but I will need to wait until the guy with the hose and forceful water leaves the front porch area.
