Pamela Howard-Thornton who is a resident of Shepherdsville Kentucky trusted her hunches that she should play a $5 dollar Flamingo Bingo scratch game when she went to a Speedway service station in Lebanon earlier this month to buy a scratch off lottery ticket.
Pamela bought four Flamingo Bingo scratch off tickets at the same store when she left them in the counter in her home when around late night, she played three of the scratch off tickets which did not win her any money.
Pamela realized that a fourth lottery ticket she played that she threw in the trash was the lottery ticket that had the grand prize of $80,000 dollars that she almost threw away.
Pamela was able to locate the winning ticket and go to the lottery office and collect around $57.600 dollars after taxes.

Had she scratched the winning ticket and did she know it was a winning ticket when she threw it in the trash.

Probably she got despondent when the first 3 tickets were not winners, and so threw the fourth one away. It was good that she was able to recover that winning ticket.
