Three-wheelers on display

While in the car museum, I was taken by the number of three-wheeled vehicles on display. There was more than just these on display but I couldn’t make them all fit nicely on the collage. Unfortunately, I didn’t take photos of the signage on them so I have no idea what models/makes they are. They all looked pretty unstable to me but I guess they were roadworthy. This is very short but I don’t know what else to say about them other than that they looked pretty groovy.

"Roadworthy" doesn't mean they won't tip over, though. I would not be comfortable driving one.

They look very 'suss' to me. I wouldn't be keen on driving one either.

@DaddyEvil I've known 'suss' for a while but my friend, according to her grandkids, is now 'nonch' (nonchalant)!!

The bike you posted the other day looked groovy And these wee cars look groovy too. Not sure now stable they would be but I would like to find out by driving one

They must be stable enough or they wouldn't have persisted with making them - maybe they weren't very stable which is why they stopped! lol

3 wheelers are so to say the main stay here. I often travel by it Image is not getting uploaded
Bajaj Auto has included three free services with all the BS6 three-wheelers and these include labour as well as an oil change.

Those look very classy. These have the single wheel at the back. I don't know what difference it would make.

@JudyEv - No they never become very popular. The small FIAT Topolino first and then the FIAT 500 with 4 wheels were a lot more popular.

Did they become very popular? I can't remember what these makes were. I should have taken photos of the signs.

That is pretty groovy. We have one not too far from us , I would be interested in. We have talked a few times about going. My 4 year old would love it.

I wonder if they make a 3-wheel pedal car.

I would hate to get into an accident with those little cars.

There doesn't look to be much protection. They look like they'd crumple pretty easily.

I am a bit dubious about their safety ,though they are roadworthy.

They look like they'd tip over too easily.

They look unique, although I would not trust driving one as I would surely tip it over.

Is that right, two wheels on front and one at the back? Quite unique. Most three wheelers here have one wheel on front and two at the back

The autos on this post look great for a three wheel drive vehicle.

They look pretty but I wonder if three wheels offer a good balance.

I've never seen a car like the top one before. Robin Reliants used to be quite popular here though, in the 70s and 80s. I think I might just be able to glimpse the front corner of one in the top left of you upper photo!

I had a look at the photo and it looks to me like the grill is different from the one in your photo. From memory, the ones we saw all had the single wheel at the back. We need to go back and have another look! lol
