Have you enjoyed being mooned this month? Since it’s blistering hot in most of America, it’ll be the sun next month. But first, three more song! Relax, you will know #1. Meanwhile, here’s one of my favorite bands. #3: Wrong Side of the Moon - Squeeze Ah, another “I’m on tour and missing my baby” song. This was from Squeeze’s last album with Jools Holland before he left to start that wonderfully weird life he’s had post-Squeeze. Last year he had a very successful duet album with Rod Stewart, Swing Fever. For years he hosted Later…With Jools Holland which is even well-known over here. He co-hosted Night Music with David Sanborn as well. Oh, and he has an OBE. Despite the album title (“argy-bargy” is slang for a loud, usually playful, discussion), there was no acrimony in Holland’s departure from Squeeze. They were on Later… a number of times together. And, his departure brought Paul Carrack into the band temporarily, long enough to provide Squeeze with one of its best-known songs (“Tempted,” which Carrack sang lead on two of the three verses). Holland rarely sang lead (Glenn Tilbrook is usually the lead vocalist for Squeeze), but he provided a lot of fun when he did!
