Pool party!

My friend Donna came over yesterday and we spent the afternoon swimming in my pool. Both wine and Gatorade were involved, and we had a good time..
She has diabetes,and her "numbers' were really good for the entire afternoon. Maybe exercise is a good thing for fighting diabetes. I don't know. After our pool party,we went and had some Japanese food.
Today I am back to looking for a new truck. My Silverado has transmissions problems, and I would not dare take it up to Montana in its current condition.

I'm glad you had a good time with your friend.
We are slowly working on moving things around in our bedrooms so the construction guys won't have to work as hard getting to the outside walls and blowing insulation into them. We can feel the difference in the temps between our bedrooms and the living room/kitchen/laundry rooms where the walls have already had insulation blown into them. It should be very nice when everything gets done. (Pretty's bedroom is the more difficult room since she has a large computer desk against an outside wall and it's loaded down with computer equipment. My bedroom just has a bookcase, chair and a table against the outside walls.)
Good luck finding a new truck.

It sounds like it was a fun time.
I hope that you can find a replacement truck, and that it isn't a make that causes you to pay a premium on your insurance. Our son has one that is known for having poor security, and he pays an extra amount on his insurance as a result. Not too sure if they do that in your country or not.

@TheHorse There is a list of vehicles that are easily broken into and then stolen, they are not armed with security and are therefore subject to a premium price. They refer to them as HTV's and that stands for high theft vehicles.
I know that the list here pretty much covers most Toyota vehicles, Jeep, Ram, some Lexus that I know for certain. Our son has a Ram and has to pay a premium because of that.
We have a VW Tiguan and it isn't extra to insure.

Diabetes can be so hard to control. Sportspeople in particular seem to need to test their sugar throughout the day if they're training or competing. I'm glad Vince's is only Type 2. It seems to be well in control, touch wood.
