Oh no!! Don't Let the Rain Come Down

That is a song. Some of you may know it. I just finished getting my front yard parts all mowed last night. Rain was not in the forecast I saw, but it is easy to be wrong. We could feel the storm approaching. Bob got so sleepy. He has been napping for about three hours. The rain just started about a half hour ago. Nice thing is that there will not be as many fire works shooting and there is a much reduced chance of fire from said fireworks because everything is saturated. I am told "It rains on the just and the unjust," and that is very true.

We’ve had the textbook definition of “scattered showers and storms” here since Thursday. My neighbor got the grass cut today.

I was wondering about the fireworks but of course it's nearly the 4th of July, isn't it? Silly me!

I’m always glad when the chance of fires goes down. And these chuckleheads do love to get into trouble with fireworks. Do you happen to remember that NFL player who blew a few of his fingers off while setting off fireworks? It cost him millions of dollars because no one wanted to take a chance on him. I know you’re not into sports, but I think that story made the regular news.

It's weird it is pouring all around the city of Richmond, but we are dry. Happens sometimes. It was sunny, but looking outside justnoww looks like it could rain.

We were waiting for the evening to cool down before starting on our yard... We only had a 15% chance of rain... and now it's storming! The temp dropped from 90F to 73F in half an hour! It will be nice not hearing as many fireworks tonight.
