Air Freshners

Air Freshners are used to hide the bad smell in a house I am not for it I would rather keep my house clean than hide the bad smell
Even when I had dogs I was particular about keeping the dogs clean. I have checked with my friends when they walk in if they got any bad smell
The only thing I use is a floor cleanswer which has a nice smell. It is more to clean the floor than for the smell I use it.
What is your story?

There cannot be a better perfume than the smell of a clean house

I like the use of air fresheners to get rid of the smell of cats waste.

We used to buy Glade air freshener aerosols before the price went up. Now we get a cheaper one from Dollar Tree. We really only use them after #2. The wife does use a Febreeze fabric spray on the furniture from time to time, and other things like candles to freshen up the place. But our house generally never smells too bad, except around the litter box for the cats.

I keep my house clean. Air fresheners are good but I have not used them much. My elder daughter uses it for her bathroom. My floor cleaner has lime scent and that is refreshing. My husband and I can't stand strong scents

@arunima25 Even when some use perfumes over their body odour that is intolerable

@allknowing Yes, indeed. I would rather try to treat the cause and not mask it.

Even bathrooms can be without bad smell if they are kept clean.

I use Febreze fabric since I have a dog but we just spray the couches and area rugs, my wife does a good job keeping the house tidy

If the dog is kept clean refreshners are not required and it is good for the dog as well.

@allknowing We bathe him once a week, but dogs still have a light scent on their fur so the Febreze fabric just keeps the living room smelling like fresh linen

I prefer fresh air and keeping things tidy rather than masking smells. I don’t use air fresheners either, just natural cleaners that happen to smell nice. A clean space just feels better overall.

Masking smells is not good for health. Our floor cleaner also has a good smell
