Sweet morning

I decided to end June with a little morning outside time. I didn't drive to the pool. Instead I headed out back and picked raspberries. I needed some green time. I went back into the house and grabbed a bowl of cereal, tossed some berries into the bowl and headed back out back. Breakfast outdoors just suited me fine. Today's temps are full of glaring sun with some shade provided by the apple trees and walnut tree.
The Painter guys are back. I originally thought painting this house would be great. I thought of it as a cosmetic thing- like a woman putting on makeup. These painter guys are showing me a whole other idea. First they pressure washed. Now they are scraping and caulking holes I didn't know about. By the time these guys get to the paint cans this house is going to be a whole other house!

I agree, that does sound just like a woman putting on new layers of makeup. 
It's a pain in the tush but your house should look beautiful when they finally get done with it.

@DaddyEvil Me, either. I hated seeing those limbs come off but I knew it needed to happen. Pruning trees usually costs quite a bit.

@DaddyEvil I'm starting to be impressed by these Painter guys. They are cleaning up my act- they not only cut the wayward walnut tree limbs away from the house they also hauled the mess away.

They also had this show about what people found behind walls when a renovation was being done. Dolls from the 1800s, newspapers from the early 1900s, coins so old they were worth money. I think it was called, “If These Walls Could Talk”. My mom loved that show.
