Do you have plans for the Fourth of July?

Tomorrow is Independence Day here in America. It is typically celebrated with barbecues, trips to the beach or lake, fireworks, etc. Back in the day my ex and I would host a big barbecue at the house with lots of food, drinks, lawn games, etc. I miss entertaining like that. 
Anyway as per usual I don't have any plans. It is supposed to be 84F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore which is perfect beach/pool weather. My default will be to spend a few hours over at the pool. If I'm feeling social I'll head over to my aunt and uncle's house to hang with them in their pool. (plus I know there will be good food!) 
I could go over to my sister's house but I pretty much avoid them these days as they make me feel uncomfortable. I'm too old to have to spend time where I feel like that. I've done it for way too long.
There usually is a fireworks display over the river at 9pm but for some reason it isn't happening until Saturday night. My downstairs neighbor and I sit on the steps and watch what we can see of it from here.

Pretty and I have allergic reactions to the smoke from fireworks so we'll be in the house avoiding as much as possible.

We keep an eye out on our frightened fur kids on the Fourth. I just made mayo and potato salad. Hubby will be watching the movie musical 1776.
