What a bargain this is.

July 3, 2025 2:52pm CST
What an absolute gem of a bargain I got when I bought this twenty four cans pack of Coke Zero at the petrol station. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them price - too good to be true I thought. But right enough, Old Price £13+ Reduced price £3 Works out at £0.125 pence per can. 8 cans for £1 16 cans for £2 24.cans for £3. In the pub they charge about £2 for one can. Anyway, I needed to put petrol in another bike so we went back and bought another 24 pack. Won't need to buy Coke Zero for a while Would you Have bought them too?

@JudyEv Well the whole batch would have been out of date the next day. This was an Asda. So I assume other Asda stores may have had some of the same batch left

I sure would have..Soda is expensive here now. I usually only buy it if it is store brand or a deep discount like that one is offered

I think I only bought it because it was so cheap. And to put in my Jim Beam with Ice cubes It is better than the supermarket cheap cola I normally buy

I don't normally drink Coke as I cannot afford to. A 2l bottle of coke costs £2.00. I buy Lidl cola at £0.49 for 2L Pepsi is not viable for a pauper like me either.

I don't like the taste of zero sugar drinks and have to admit I've not drunk any soda for over 20 years

Just now
It tastes ok in my Jim Beam But it is nothing like Coke was 40 or 50 years ago. Soda drinks haven't been good for the last 20 years Apart from full tilt sugar laden Narrs Iron Bru
