Hello myLot friends. 
I took a few days off from the internet. What a nice feeling.
The weather has been lovely here. Not too hot, not muggy, and nice change. I have enjoyed lots of time outside. The flowers and vegetables are looking great.
I only have 1 more day left until a week's vacation, which I am looking forward to. I have a couple of appointments booked that I couldn't have got done during the normal workweek. Otherwise, I am just relaxing with my husband and the girls.

I just received a phonecall from from our son. The girls were playing outside on the little wooden deck a while ago, and Harper had no shoes on, and sliced open one of her little toes. It was fairly large so Mommy took her to the hospital and Daddy is home with Willow. Dad just called to tell me that they have Harper sedated and are removing the little piece of wood decking from her toe.
Maybe if you are down wind of here, you can hear her screaming like a banshee.
Poor little baby gurl.

The internet is alright, but in healthy doses.
Poor little baby, I am so sorry. I hope that she is not in pain as she has been sedated.

@LadyDuck She was barefoot at the time, but it happened on the sharp edge to a flat rock.
She was a little exhausted from the episode, crying and pain and the sedation.
Klaudia knows someone who reached out to her, she recently left an abusive relationship, and they have offered to come out and deliver their old dryer to her this evening, she wants also to speak to Jonathon about legal aid, which is what he does for work. I will watch the girls but I asked Ron to come along as they will be so tired at that time of the day and will need one-on-one and with us both there he can help with that.

@Juliaacv - Poor baby, I hope she is better this morning. Those cuts are terrible. I remember when I cut under my toes wearing a pair of plastic clogs, I lost a lot of blood, even because I tried to hide what happened to my husband, so I walked on it for a while.

@Juliaacv right that is your job, I have made Internet my work and it is funny if I think about taking a day off I wonder what I will do but I will try an experiment one day and use the Internet only half a day, Of course, unlike you if I choose to be online most of the day I can take breaks in between and rest or read which you cannot at your work,

My bet is that it hurt Harper’s mama just as much as it hurt Harper to go through this hospital experience. Seeing a beloved little one suffer is horrible.

They were all pretty sad about her injury.
This morning when Grandpa arrived, Willow was quick to report to him that Sissy was home from the hospital, she must have worried while she was gone.
She is still sore and limping but hopefully in 5 days when she has the gauze dressing off she will be a little better again.

Aww. Poor Harper. I hope she's OK. Enjoy your vacation. It's going to be hot, hot, hot this weekend; but then the temps will moderate next week.
