Anyone for Snakes and Ladders?

We stopped for a coffee in one of the small towns we went through and came across this table in an outside area. Someone has made a Snakes and Ladders board using mosaic chips. Of course, you ‘d need a dice to play a game but maybe they had a dice in the shop that they’d give out. Another table featured a board suitable for draughts or chess, again make out of mosaics.
Today is our second last day on the road. We are going to Cunderdin where they have a museum we want to go through and we don’t know where we’ll go from there. We’re finding lots of ‘hidden gems’ on our travels.

I bet the board games on the tables makes them popular with some people.
I hope you and Vince are having a great time traveling and seeing what's out there.

I saw tables like that outside a cafe when I was in Bulgaria a few years back.
Just for chess.
I played a game with this old man and he beat me with ease
You have good trips Judy

@Ineeddentures Exactly and that's what will happen. To get out of the city, we'll have to travel some of the same roads again and again. Once out of the city, we try to keep off the highways but we're not too keen on gravel roads.

@JudyEv Yes, it's funny ow they are the same yet different. We have a bit more in common with Canadians in terms of language yet even so, still a few differences

I couldn’t play this game because they’ve got the snakes the wrong way round. You slide down from the head to tail, not tail to head. How disappointing!

It's a good idea really even if it doesn't get used much.

Wow!! It's so much of fun to find the hidden gems on your travel. Vince and you must be having a good time.
I like playing boars games. I would often play snakes and ladders with my students when we have game sessions to boost the social skills like turn taking and even some games to sharpen the cognitive skills.
