Taho is a popular Filipino snack made from fresh silken tofu, sweet arnibal (a syrup made from caramelized brown sugar), and sago pearls (similar to tapioca).
It's often served warm in small cups and commonly sold by street vendors who walk through neighborhoods in the morning, calling out “Taho!”
Traditionally enjoyed as a breakfast treat, taho is loved for its soft texture and comforting sweetness—simple, nostalgic, and satisfying.
I grew up eating taho in the morning. Now the sellers of taho is carried by cart already.

I keep hearing about tofu but it doesn't sound good. I'll pass, thanks.
We have ice cream vendors that drive through our neighborhoods selling different types of ice cream in the afternoons... Once in a while Pretty will ask if I have any cash and go buy some ice cream cones or something similar from the vendor.

Nothing beats Taho by peddlers, not even those in the groceries and supermarkets!! But they're good for those who can't buy from peddlers.
