Maybe taking a road trip tomorrow

Well "road trip" is a bit of an exaggeration but after being here for 2 weeks straight it would be good to get out of the apartment complex. (The battery in my car could be dead for all I know!)
Yesterday at the pool my buddy and her mother were talking about going to the Columbus Flea Market in Bordentown which is almost an hour away. I haven't been there in years. There are tables upon tables upon tables of items to buy. I don't need any more "stuff" but I would like to check out the Amish part of the market which has all sorts of food--meats, baked goods, spices, etc. I totally would buy some meat, pretzels, and butter. Oh I love Amish butter.
My friend said she would text me tomorrow about what time they plan to leave. I will have to get to the ATM either later today or early tomorrow morning. I wouldn't expect the Amish to be processing credit cards but who knows?

That sounds like a fun expedition... I wish there was an Amish market around us somewhere. (I know there are several Amish communities in our area but I never hear about them selling anything here.)

Doesn't everyone accept card payments now.
Enjoy your trip
I hope that your battery is ok in your car

That sounds like a great time! I love places run by the Amish. There is an Amish store in Missouri I always go to every time we go to Branson. Their food items are always the absolute best. Their furniture too, but it’s not like I can buy that.

We're talking about a day trip but we need to see what's going on with dad first. I really hope we get out of the hole soon so I can back to Barnes and Noble lol
I hope you get to go and have a lot of fun.

I hope you do get out for a road trip. I love golf ng to our Amish settlement and the butter and homemade cheeses are so good. I ignore the baked goods and walk very fast past them!
