Mom and I have a liking for the part baked baguettes that you can buy from the supermarket. We have discovered that they take just 7 minutes in the ninja. Yay ! I usually get them from Tesco and they are lovely….but last week The Mister didn’t get chance to go there and we used the last pack last week. We went to Morrisons this morning and we both really fancied baguettes for lunch. ‘ oh well we will just have to have Morrisons today “ ….Mom says. Never again ….hard and dry . Not very tasty at all. Fingers crossed we can have a trip to Tesco this weekend.

Oh, yeah, there are a lot of places that can't make good bread! I want bread that is soft when I bite into it... I will admit, I do like the heel part of the bread loaves we buy... Pretty will throw those away if I don't get them before she's done with a loaf, though.

We call the heel of the bread the crust. A lot of people throw that away …..I like it for toast but wouldn’t use it for a sandwich.

I do love bread!! isn't it funny how they can taste so different one store to the other.

I don’t like Morrisons bread at all …packaged or loose …i much prefer Tesco. You would think it would be more uniform …all same basic recipe in each store but they are, in reality, very different.

I loved the baguettes we used to get in France. They are just not the same here.
