What is the worst Christmas gift that you ever got? I know we should be grateful for all the gifts that we get But come on!? One year me and my brother and sister were giving a parcel between us Wrapped on brown paper It contained a skipping rope Imagine trying to look happy receiving that as a 12 year old boy I didn't try Threw it to my brother , 2 years younger than me, and told him be could keep it Worst xmas gift stories here please?

I may have mentioned this before. My SIL gave me the worst xmas gift ever. It was an obvious regift (already opened) . . . a couple's massage kit . . . I thought it was tacky and gross. She even had nerve to say "Isn't it great . . . " .

@Ineeddentures In the almost 40 years that I've known her, that was also the ONLY gift I've ever really received from her .

That would really suck. What an awful memory. I can't remember getting anything bad. I do rmember finding my Christmas present, a book, and reading it well before Christmas Day. That sort of spoilt the day for me but it was my own fault.

@Ineeddentures I got carpet bowls one Christmas but I think it was more that Vince wanted them. He thought it would be a nice 'family' gift. lol That wasn't the best gift but it wasn't a big deal.

I got a small toy rubber bag when I was studying in my grade level. It was disposed easily by mom.

My uncle had a friend that I didn't like and I had to go to the friend's family Christmas party. They have a game where you "win" gag gifts. One year I "won" a small clip on necktie. I was a little disappointed. That friend made my mother mad so we stopped going to that party. One year I used my boyfriend as a excuse to not go to the Christmas party.

Years ago my Auntie bought me a lovely jumper from M&S …..except it was about four sizes too big. She always got me and my cousin the same and my cousin was a lot bigger than me ! I tried to change it but they had not got my size so I had to have something else …..shame because I really liked that jumper ….and it was made worse when I saw my cousin and she was wearing said jumper !.

When I was 12, I got a square gift that was the size of a softball, and I was certain that's what was inside. Turned out to be a couple of bras instead. Forty-five years later, I'd kill to get bras for Christmas.

My MIL used to give us all kinds of things that didn't fit or that we didn't want. And she wouldn't leave the tags on them so you could return them. The worst gift was 2 tickets to see Mitzi Gaynor. She gave us those because we used to laugh when seeing her in the old movies. We couldn't exchange the tickets and we didn't go see her.
