What's for dinner? July 11

What's going on the dinner table tonight? Do tell! I'm making chicken cutlets that have been marinating in buttermilk with garlic, salt, and ground black pepper. I will bread them with panko crumbs. To go with I'm having Smitten Kitchen's corn fritters (Mexican style) and boxed stuffing. I'll put a dab of the blueberry barbecue sauce that I made the other day on the cutlet that I have tonight. That's what is happening here. What are YOU having? I want to know!

It was too hot to cook So I phoned the chip shop Easier, And it was good I had 2 battered pork sausages and chips Yvonne had a deep fried macaroni pie and chips

Boxed stuffing? From you? You told me you were a foodie snob, lol. All the heroes and legends I knew as a child have fallen to idols of clay... Sounds like a pretty good dinner.

Yeah I keep a box or 2 on hand for certain situations. I don't think I'd make homemade stuffing unless it was Thanksgiving.

Easy peasy: boxed Mac n Cheese. I always put nutritional yeast in it. Broccoli and cauli on the side. Small ice cream bar.

We unfortunately had to go for what was on sale, which was PIZZA and Pasta. SOOOO. I have a freezer packed with Pizza. We bought a big family meal at CANES on Wednesday and it just finally was finished up. I did pull up some cash to get chicken so I could have something healthy. I eat mostly healthy, but during weeks like this, I eat in moderation. Which I can do. I have tuna packets as well to hold me over when needed. It's how I keep myself fit to some extent.
