The hi tech city if Haryana, Gurugram is reeling under floods with drain water and garbage of city flowing over the roads. Life had come to a stand still in the city. Our honorable Prime Minister had said that he would convert Gurugram into Singapore but it turns into a dirty over flowing large drain during every rainy season. This is just because of mindless planing of the city by the Gurugram Municipality officials who don't take any accountability during this crisis. Moreover some section of people of the city who are busy most of time holding parties and throw the party waste into the drain. The city has leaking flyover and bridges and roads that have caved due to heavy rains. There's no outlet for the rain water to pass through the city.

I'm sorry that is happening but until the people there do something about their city officials or the government does something, it will continue like that.

That's true. People have to be aware of cleanliness of their surroundings and the municipality should monitor what the contractor is doing.

The prime minister can't do these things alone. He needs honest and sincere officers. This is what he lacks. I have watched the news. It is really pathetic.

The officials are given the freedom to neglect. The bjp party is busy distributing public funds among themselves.

That's terrible when the rain water doesn't hsve an outlet to get through. Lately some cities and our capital city were flooded with warer due to heavenly rains brought by tropical storm Bibing.

That's very unfortunate. Rain water has to have an outlet to flow into the river.

@Nakitakona Right. We are suffering now because of bad drainage system and encroachment. Some are building houses and shops over the drains by bribing the municipality officials.

@aninditasen That's it should be. A well drainage system may solve the flood.

Oh dear. This sounds a bit like a bigger version of what went wrong when our town flooded. Your honourable prime minister should remove his finger from his butt and get.thonhs moving for the people of this city so their lives are not turned upside down by flooding in the future

That will never happen in Gurugram. The officials and politicians are least bothered and corrupt.
