Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 74 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is 81. I slept until about 7:30am and then kind of drifted in and out of sleep for another hour. I finally got up at 9 because I like to watch State of the Union on Sunday mornings. I'm a creature of habit. It doesn't look like it is going to be a pool day. It says the sun might come out later this afternoon but I won't be rushing over to the pool when it opens at 11. I'll just hang here with the cat crew. I have a stack of books that I want to read so I'll try to make some progress on that. I also will continue to work on cleaning the rug in Charlie's favorite spots. *ahem* What's everyone else up to today?

Good morning... It is 69F and raining in my part of Missouri. Our high is supposed to reach 81F by late this afternoon. We have storms/rain predicted all day. I've done the dishes and cleaned the counters and stovetop... The temp in the house still says 75F but I feel like I'm smothering. If I turn the A/C down further, Pretty will growl at me. *sigh* That's the bad part of having central heat and air... I have to keep the temp as best I can for both of us. I hope you have a good day.

Well I live alone so I can set the heat/AC to whatever temp I want. There's no one to complain. . . other than my bank account. haha

@NJChicaa At our last house, I kept the temp in my bedroom at 69F and Pretty said it was a freezer in there. I was comfortable. She didn't want the air turned on in the rest of the house, even when it hit 100F in there. I just stayed in my room most of the time.

Currently 28°C/82°F, expected high of 31°C/87°F... partly cloudy. It rained overnight and we might get thunderdunders today but the heat warning continues to the end of the week. Not gonna be doing much today.

Good morning. Nice that you woke later and could stay in bed, you must be in your summer relaxation mode these days. I slept later today, only because my hubby was sleeping loudly last night due to his cold-we both have one. Tomorrow is back to work, my first week's vacay for 2025 is over. I made a big batch of little pancakes this morning, so that Grandpa can bring them to the girls to reheat for breakfasts next week. The girls call them Nanny-cakes, yeah, I'm Nanny to them. I bought a small whole chicken and plan on make it later today for supper, other than that, nothing happening.
