The Heat

By 4p. it will be 100F here. Up here it is like opening the oven when you're cooking something at a high degree. Just like an oven. I have had the A/C on for hours where I used to just cool it a bit and then turn it off. We haven't had any rain so that makes it feel that much hotter. I hope it doesn't make our level pay go up, but if so - so be it.
I am hopeful that the end of August will have some cooler days. My yearly wellness doctor visit is the 26th. I don't drink or eat anything when I go out. I hope it's not too hot. Will drink plenty of water the day prior.
I look forward to Halloween. It's getting chilly by then. Sounds so nice right about now. Nice to have something to look forward to. Besides red hot heat.

I'm sorry it's so hot there and hope you get some rain soon.
It's 4 pm here and raining. The temp is 79F with 100% humidity. It's supposed to keep raining until tomorrow evening.

Such torture. I can't stand it. Thank goodness for the A/C. Hope it continues to work as the one downstairs still hasn't been replaced.
