Three-wheeled tractors

I posted a while back with a photo of three-wheeled cars. Now here is a photo of tractors with three wheels. I don’t like the look of these either. They look to me as if they would tip over very easily on a hill.
I think they were popular some years ago and were used perhaps in market gardens as the wheels were set to follow the furrows that the vegetables would be planted in.
Do they look safe to you?

My grandfather had one like the top photo (the red one). I guess they weren’t safe, but I just liked the hayrides when I was a kid so I didn’t care.

No, in my eyes, the three-wheeled tractors look like they'd tip over easily. The tractor I drove on our farm when I was young had a wide wheel base that was very stable. We had split plows that were used when I drove down the rows of crops... Of course, they couldn't be used after crops got taller but we had a tiller we used in the rows after that point.

@JudyEv I've seen machines like that here, too. But they didn't have things like that when I was younger and we couldn't afford it even if they did. Mom received Social Security for my younger brother, myself and herself and that was it. She paid our bills and bought groceries and gas for the car out of that.
I probably get more in food stamps a month than we got in Social Security back then.

I wouldn't want to drive the white one
It does look like it might not be the safest thing to drive
The red one is cool
We had one like that on the farm back in the 60,s
