I am supposed to do laundry every Monday.
But of course, time changes.
I was busy half of the week last week, even the weekend, so I did laundry last Saturday morning. Then some more appointments this week, the interview and other stuff needed for college.
Sammy, the washing machine is washing the clothes now. It is the second and last load already. I am happy that I will finish this task early.
How do you manage when your week doesn’t go as planned?
Do you stick to your laundry day or just fit it in whenever you can?

Unless I am totally out of clothes, I wait my laundry for a more convenient time. But I have clothes enough for a month before I HAVE to do my own laundry. I usually do laundry when I am almost out of clothes, just in case I can't get them done then, I still have clothes for a couple more days.

@rakski That's understandable... You're talking about clothes for a family while I'm only talking about my own clothes.

Since I have lots of clothes and since I am using washers at a laundromat I do not have a set day. I am more likely to run out of clean sheets first.

The Mister works awat Monday to Friday so I try and get the washing done on a Friday evening or Saturday so that it’s all done for the Monday. However every other weekend we have the Grandkids come and stay Friday to Saturday ….so sometimes the laundry has to wait.

I never do laundry. My wife does. She does it every other day late at night or early morning.

Sounds like you’ve had a packed week, but hey—still getting things done, so that’s a win! Honestly, I try to stick to a routine, but life happens, right? When things get hectic, I just fit chores in wherever it makes sense. Sometimes that means doing it late at night or in batches throughout the week. Flexibility is key!

Just whenever. I am not a very structured person. I should be more so.

Unexpected things can happen. There are times when I had to report to work on weekends or I have to finish some urgent reports. If things doesn't go as planned, I would bring my clothes to the nearby laundry shop and would only wash the undergarments.

my laundry depends on my weekly activity. Just like this week, I know that I have a 3_day stay in seminar starting Tuesday, I dexided to do the laundry on Saturday

I don't plan for week. I know it would not be possible for me to implement any plan. My wife does laundry every third or fourth day.
