We spent the afternoon running errands. My husband ran his main one first and got the part he needed for the tractor. He had hooked the Flail Mower up and cut part of the yard, parked the tractor to come outside the next day to see that a piece had fallen off because the third link that came on the tractor wasn't long enough. So he went and bought a longer one to replace it with. Next we went to Harbor Freight to get some moving blankets for my oldest daughters moving out of her apartment at the end of next week. That should be all we need to get her furniture on the trailer. We had lunch at the Golden Corral. I ran into Dollar Tree for a large gift bag for my oldest granddaughter's birthday presents. They should be coming tomorrow to pick up the kitten that I showed you where the cat looked grumpy. I think if they make it, we will go ahead and give her the birthday presents early. We will be helping another daughter move the following day and a 2 hour road trip the day before moving will be HARD on the old folks. Next we hit Aldi's up. I was out of bread, milk, lunch meat and a few other things. We did not make it back home until 6 pm. What was your day like? Photo Credit: Pixabay, Public Domain

I have been doing that at night when I should be doing my Ebay listings!! It's very easy to get carried away there.

@kareng Yeah. But it's nominal compared to the time spent. The dividend is a paltry 0.44%.

My day was boring one. Go work, outstation for a couple of hours, then go home.

Yes, I should not have to run anywhere in the next 2 days with the rain from the storm coming in from the Gulf. I just hope it is out of here for Saturday when I have Market Day again!

We went to my Moms for Sunday lunch. Roast chicken dinner today. The Mister cut back some of the trees from next door that were hanging over to Moms side . The neighbours did apologise as they would have done it but because they are have building work done they can’t actually get to the fence to get close enough to cut the trees. Next was shopping, a few bits for The Mister to take to work. Now back home and thinking about supper ….

You did all kinds of running around; and I worked on word puzzles most of the day. I need to buckle down and finish up the notes for the lawyer, etc.

Well, this morning crashed into the screen door, making it impossible to open or close. I did manage to get photos of a ring or two and get them ready for eBay. Just went and got the mail, and watered the plants from the other side of the patio wall since I couldn't get through the screen door to the patio... Now I'm trying to repay some comments.

Time always flies when you are busy doing something you enjoy!! I think she will be fine. However, my grandson is a wild one, so that will take some getting used to.

That's nice that you help your kids move. I bought some peaches today. The painters continue to paint the house. We're having a poetry reading in our backyard tonight. I doubt very many folks will show.
