What to cook?

Although I like cooking there are days I hybernate and today is one such day
I have one good habit and that is I do not waste food and leftovers are frozen I was not sure if I had any left in the fridge
I was so happy when I saw the tender jackfruit that I cooked days ago sitting pretty the fridge.
I have pulled that out. I will add some paneer to it and steam it. I will eat that with bread.
I cannot thank the fridge enough on days such as today

Yes, I like to cook when I can see to do it. Even on days when I can't see well, I usually cook one meal, even if I have to ask Pretty to make sure I've cooked meat enough.
When I can't see to cook, Pretty takes something I've cooked and frozen and microwaves it for my meals. Sometimes she microwaves frozen sandwiches or things like that for me.
Today, I cooked ground beef and ground pork and added some to a cheese pasta that was cooked a few days ago and put in the fridge and in another container, I added some of the cooked meat to steamed broccoli, onions and sweet peppers I'd cooked yesterday and had leftover in the fridge.
Pretty cooked her own meals today. (I think she made rice and added some Korean beef she had left over in the fridge and a frozen sandwich for another meal... I don't pay a lot of attention to what she makes for herself. When she cooks, she cooks just for herself.)

I noticie you have a good stock of frozen food. Your interest in cooking is impressive. And all this with issues with your eyes
I like to try out new dishes and even create my own recipes.
The dumplings were my own creation - every kind of flour in the pantry is made into a dough to which chopped onions, chopped green chiies, sugar, salt, cumin see, chopped coriander leaves, coconut is added. Dumpllings are steamed

@DaddyEvil There are two fridges but little space for freezing. There are other things stored in there
I love to cook but there must be help around to do the nitty gritty

@allknowing We do have a lot in the freezer... It's almost full right now. We need to buy a bigger freezer because we'd buy more frozen stuff and store it if we had more freezer space.
I've cooked since I was 13 years old and often used to invite friends over for meals. I enjoyed having dinner parties but all my friends moved away during the pandemic so it's just Pretty and I now.
Dumpling are always good. Once in a while I make dumplings for chicken soup. Pretty and I both like that. I've never cooked anything in dumplings. The ones I make are just dough cooked in the soup so they absorb the flavor of the chicken.
