We may or may not be going to have a big storm. I have heard the thunder. There is a big flat black cloud over us and the wind is really whipping up.
So far this year we have not had windstorms. This one is forecast for Wichita and the surrounding areas. I do not know how far that reaches.
It does not seem to be bothering my connectivity at this time.
If the weather takes my internet it also takes Bob's TV. I guess if that happens we will have to find other ways to entertain ourself.

I hope you don't have a storm tonight... You guys could always watch a movie as long as you have power and have some DVDs or VHS tapes...

Actually it was very short lived. Mostly some wind. Fun to watch the trees dance.

@GardenGerty We got a lot of clouds last night and it kept smelling like rain but it never did... We did have some strong winds during the night. I could hear one of my bedroom windows rattling at times.

I hope the other cedar tree does not go. If it were not so pricey I would have it taken out, because I am sure it is drilled all through by carpenter ants like the other one was.

When I lived near San Diego it was almost always temperate, except for occasional night and morning low clouds (aka fog).

There was a storm around lunchtime that did interrupt electricity for a few minutes even though it was a small shower even though it was the loud thunder that kayoed electrical power briefly.

We just had wind for a short while, and then some rain, but not much. No thunder and lightening this time.

Our Internet isn't affected by the wrath of storm Crising. Hopefully it will exit in the country’s area of responsibility.

Candles and a lighter are on the table. I do have some oil lamps, but I do not think they are filled.
