Friend came down..he wanted to see the Mission I.possible movie, but it didn't start at a convenient time The movie was a bit slow at first but turned into a thrill ride. However, what I really liked was the theater., They had the best movie seats I ever sat in. They were more comfortable I have at home .Really plush with footrets and chairs that reclined almost all the way back. Unfortunately, it isn't very convenient to get to this particular theater otherwis e I would go there all the time Best movie seats I have been in by far.

Typical of Jurassic films, they begin slowly and then become exciting as the film progresses, with plenty of action on the sides until the end.

@snowy22315 i hope to see it once it reaches our place. Or maybe just wait for it it netflix.. Movies in my place have become so pricey that it they discourage us from going to theaters anymore.

Yes, kind of a predictable path, but exciting nonetheless

I have not been in a cinema in 20 years Not even in one of those dives where men sit in the back row in the dark wearing big coats

Any particular reason? I guess you don't want to spend the dough

That sounds NICE! I'm glad you had a good time! (I watched that movie one day last week and really enjoyed it.) Once I was able to watch all the movies I wanted to see at home in my own chair or in my bed, I haven't been back to a theater...

@snowy22315 Years ago there was a place called The Palace that we loved going to... The seats reclined and you had a good view of the screen. Ushers would take people out who insisted on talking during the movie or standing at their seats during the movie. Unfortunately, it closed during the pandemic and, when it opened back up, it had been sold to a church and all the movies were religion-based... Not our thing at all.

You really feel spoilt in those fancy seats. We've only been to such a theatre once.

Movie seats have changed a lot since the time I would visit theaters a few years ago.

What do you mean by inconvenient? You said it has the best seats. Are you not convenient with it?

I have never seen a Jurassic Park movie. I think I’m in the minority.

I only go to the theater if someone else wants to go. Otherwise I watch movies on my TV streaming service.

I haven't been to a movie theater in years but I've heard about those comfortable seats they have now. Glad you enjoyed the movie and the comfy seating.

Yeah, the seat was great. At least I know where this place is now in case I ever want to go there again. They had duck pins in there too, BTW.

I can get the new Jurassic movie on demand if I pay for it or use one of my free movie certificates. I just wish I had someone to watch it with. If gravel man would call, I would invite him over to watch it.

I have no problems watching movies by myself, in fact I prefer it that way since I can watch exactly what I want to watch. When friend is here, we usually end up watching something he wants, as he doesn't like the same types of films.

@snowy22315 My husband was like that. We'd start to watch a movie that I picked (he insisted that I pick one); and then he'd say that he didn't like it; and I'd have to shut it off.

That's great! Its one of the lovies I look forward to watching.
